What’s Happening

Our latest activities

We run sets of workshops all over the county in response to requests. If you would like support, please contact us and we will do our best to organise a set near to you.

Please note that placesĀ  do need to be reserved in advance though, as we keep numbers low, usually a maximum of six people.

The workshops cover four parts.

Part one is ‘Confidence Building’, part two is ‘Assertiveness’, part three is ‘Anxiety Management’ and part four is ‘Valuing Your Skills’. The sessions are relaxed, very informal and friendly, supporting people to manage day to day living more easily.

It takes a lot of courage to even ask about the support we provide, but to turn up and take part is a wonderful achievement. Everyone who has joined us should feel very proud of yourself, well done.

We have completed sets of workshops in Hull, Beverley, Anlaby, Hessle, Hornsea, Driffield, Pocklington, Goole and Withernsea, meeting great people and providing support.

If you would like to come along to a group near you, please contact us for more information. Our workshops are provided when we have around 6 people ready to join and we operate right across the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull.

SupportingĀ Employees and Employers

We have delivered tailored support to YARA in Pocklington and to ICA in Hull. In the past, our trainers have delivered this kind of support to the DWP, ERYC and many other charities.

Our programme is bespoke to meet your needs and can include:

  • Stress management in the workplace
  • Creating and managing an effective mental health policy
  • Building mental health support into supervision
  • Understanding psychosis and what it feels like to hear voices
  • Accessing external agency support for employees

Contact us for more information on how we can help you to understand mental health and mental illness more, and retain valuable, experienced members of your staff team.
