If a life is in danger, you can call an ambulance by dialling 999.

You can contact the NHS Helpline by dialling 111.

You can contact The Samaritans at any time on 116 123.

SANE is a charity that runs a national, out-of-hours, mental health helpline offering emotional support to anyone affected by mental illness, including their family and carers. They can be contacted all year round between 4.30pm and 10.30pm on 0300 304 7000.

If your GP surgery is in Hull or East Yorkshire and you are in crisis you can contact the Mental Health Response Service on 01482 301701.

If you live in York, or your GP surgery is part of the Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group, you can contact the Mental Health Crisis Team on 01904 526582.
